I'm sorry I'm posting this forever. You know how it's planning a wedding, it's hectic and the time has escaped. I want to start saying this should be a cornerstone for the first timers and regulars to New Orleans. The food was so delicious, Mike did an amazing job. The ambience was what I would imagine Cheers' show would feel like, family. We didn't know what to expect after the swamp tour and stumbled on long lost family it felt. Marsha, Ray and Denise have just shaken us with love and above all with me the bride. They went to strangers and went out of the family. My only regret is that I didn't get her addresses so I could invite them to our wedding, that's literally how amazing they were....
The greatest bar I've been to in new Orleans, my friends showed up on Ash Wednesday looking for crawfish and the owner agreed to make it for us despite it not on the menu today. We had great homemade hurricanes with real fruit juice, and in the meantime everyone shared great stories, took our pictures and made us feel super welcomed. Must stop for everyone.
Only had a few minutes to spare before our shuttle bus left, but that was just long enough to have Mike cook us up some nice oysters on the grill. The owner and patrons there were all so accommodating and nice. Wish we had more time, but we definitely enjoyed hanging with the locals. The kids loved the beads, apples and chips! Great friendly environment!
First and foremost, Marsha's Hurricanes are BETTER than that famous place in downtown New Orleans, initials are PO'B. If you like crawfish, order up Mike's Crawfish rolls. Delicious unique take. Everyone was super friendly. My only critique would be that smoking is allowed indoors. That said, we'll stop every time we pass through here. Réservez une table maintenant
Marsha at the Mona Lisa Lounge in Westwego, LA made thee best Hurricane for us. Mike! The food was fye we absolutely lived the hospitality with locals. We had a great time talking with Lynn, Mike, Ray. Thank you all for your hospitality you made my birthday weekend trip the greater because of it!
My friend and I accidentally went to this place after a swamp trip. When we entered, we were greeted with warm smiles and hellos by everyone at the place. The food and drinks were on point and the staff was super friendly! I hope to go back before my visit to NOLA is over.
