Monahan's By The Cove

It wasn't very good. Chowder was bland and clam cakes were heavy with oil. We went on a Monday and thought the chowder must have been the weekend leftovers ... The potatoes were mushy and the red broth had turned burnt orange from age. My husband got a full belly clam roll and it was skimpy. The best part of the experience was the ala carte french fries. $40 spent on a less than memorable lunch.

We went here for Lunch, it is now Monahans Clams. I got whole belly clams dinner for $21.99. Which is a good price , there were plenty of clams ,tasted very good Cole slaw was very good , would have liked a little more slaw and the French Frys are perfect. Going back for chowder Clam cakes. Next time I will take pics.

It was closed!! We were there on a Monday at about 1:30pm. We walked from Burlingame Campground only to find them closed. Someone needs to update hours on this Google Map page. We had to look them up online to figure out why they were closed. Their website says they are only open on weekends!

Service was fantastic. Swordfish taco special...omg sooooo good. Can never go wrong with chowder and clam cakes and the lobster rolls are delicious.
