Mona's Burgers Shakes

This restaurant is a great spot for burgers and fries. My wife and I live near Mona's and we always enjoy going there for happy hour, which runs daily from 2:00 to 5:00. On Tuesdays, all bottles of wine are half off. Our go-to order is some drinks, a Cali burger, and a generous serving of curly fries. They offer 4 different craft beers, including Lagunitas and Scrimshaw. I highly recommend this place if you're craving a burger and don't feel like cooking. I haven't tried their milkshakes yet, but they look delicious. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the chicken strips and would suggest avoiding them. First time visiting Mona's. During the covid restrictions, figuring out where to sit, how to find a table, etc was not well defined. However, after we sat down, we were served right away! The service was on point. We were checked in on often, and our food came out in under 10 minutes! Happy hour is a great way to get introduced to their food. My husband and I both had the burger and fries. I love the freedom to choose from their regular menu for the style of burger and fries. The burgers are super flavorful and the fries cooked well. The milk shake was thick and creamy. We will for sure be back to try some more items, especially now that we know where to sit!

Today, we ordered two salmon to-go packs. We have ordered this menu item many times in the past and have always enjoyed it. However, today was a disappointing experience. The pack was mostly filled with spruce and had very little salmon. It was tasteless and the pack itself was hard. It was a waste of time and money, as the food was not up to par. We have always liked this restaurant, but after today, we are hesitant to come back.

Yummy, it was our first visit and we'll be back for sure. Happy Hour burgers have 1/4 lb patties with a little side of fries (the fries are delish, my husband loved the flat fries) for $8.95. The Very Berry shake was yummy and refreshing.

Amazing food and amazing people! I'm a big fan of the Salmon Cesar Salad, but really you can order anything and you won't regret it! The owner is amazing and hands on, it gives a very warm inviting feel to it! Definitely recommend!
