Monga Fried Chicken Měng Xiá Jī Pái

Hm, there seems to be mixed reviews about this place but I actually really loved it. Maybe it's because I ordered at a non-popular time? The chicken was so fresh and juicy, definitely fried just for me. I tried the spicy large chicken, and I ordered through UberEATS. Even with the delivery time, it arrived hot! The flavor is good and not overpowering, sometimes when I eat chicken with seasoning powder on it the seasoning chokes me/makes the texture more dry.I also ordered the thai iced tea and it was really good. Only thing I would say is that there was not too much drink and mostly ice, and the cup itself is not big to start with. But for $5.99, that is cheaper than what most bubble tea pla...

We ordered online and selected the pick up time to be 12 20pm. We placed our order and all the information (along with the pick up time) was confirmed. We drove 15 minutes to get there for 12:20 but upon arriving, we were told that our order got extended to 1pm....They had my email and phone number and they didn 't think to let us know earlier? Unprofessional and a waste of time.Food wise, it 's nothing special. Soggy fried chicken with the fried batter/skin falling off the meat.Absolutely no redeeming qualities about this place. You 're better off going elsewhere.

This place is really fckin good- perfectly crispy, exceptionally juicy chicken (I got the “lazy” boneless thigh). Dude is killing it on the fryer. Anaheim spicy is well balanced, and plum pickle salt is a nice pop of sweet and sour, but not overwhelming.Service is friendly. Everything is made to order so it does take a few minutes- but WELL worth the short wait.Would be great to be able to do more than one flavour on a piece, like a little sampler or something especially for those not familiar with these flavours.Nice small clean space.Overall 4.5 5

A friend of ours lives close and she raves about Monga chicken so I thought we give it a try. Ordered 2 of the signature chicken pieces spicy and a 4 piece combo 2 salt pepper and 2 hot.The crunch on the breading and spice was very good. What surprised me was almost half of the signature pieces of chicken was rib bones with breading that was an unpleasant surprise. May try them again but order just chicken tenders with honey.

Ordered the Chicken Thigh Bento Box, chicken was moist and super crispy and there was so little rice. Rice was flavourful but super dry. Wish the portions were better.
