Nice place to get a quick bite. It’s not a full service restaurant like the Monkey King down the street. This one primarily focuses on quick bites to share. Nevertheless, the Asian fusion food they serve is still very good. One unique aspect of this location is that it’s right next to Alameda Island Brewery. You are able to bring their beer into Monkey King and vice versa with their food.
The BEST food I've had in a LONG time. I ordered the kimchi fried rice and the fried egg was cooked perfectlyThe star of the show was definitely the gumbo my sister ordered, it filled with flavor and they did not hold back on the sausages Service was quick even though it was pretty busy when we walked in and the gentleman at the register was sweet and attentive. A must try in Alameda.
Kind staff and very helpful! The food was amazing probably the best wings I've had in alameda! The garlic noodles are also to die for this place is a must try! They also have ice cream as well! The eating space is more of a quick bite lunch spot but they have tvs and it's a nice clean space!
The spinach and egg panini is simple and delicious; it arrived hot and fragrant. The oat milk mayan mocha is sweet and flavorful with a nice, spicy kick and is just the right drinking temperature. The ham and Ham And Cheese Croissant was amazing. Flakey, buttery, a nice amount of ham cheese inside. My boyfriend loved waking up to his Macchiato and my Matcha Chai Latté was above beyond. I apos;ll definitely be ordering from here again!
The food was so good here before Covid. Now it’s not worth it. Got sick from the crab rice, crab fries, and noodles. Don’t bother going here, there are other good Places in alameda and Oakland with better quality food and service.
Wings were great, wife loved the garlic noodles and the jambalaya rice. Music was a touch too loud, but that could just me being old. Staff was very nice and food was brought out very fast and very hot!! Will go againFood: 1/5
