Its been quite some time since we dined at this restaurant which was our favourite when we lived in Brisbane.Easy to reach from the city by getting on the Ferny Grove Train Line and getting off at Windsor. A very short walk from there.I had the satay chicken stir fry and my wife her usual basil, garlic, chili prawn stir fry. Meals came out quickly and as usual were delicious.A special hi to John and Mon (owners) who were not at the restaurant that night
One of the best Thai restaurants. The owner of this restaurant is on hand to make sure you have a great time. Very busy restaurant even though it is not on the main thoroughfare, so booking is suggested. We had curry puffs, satay chicken, mussamun curry and rice, all great. Along with several drinks only came to $69. It has a great atmosphere and as it was a warm night we sat outside. This restaurant came highly recommended by the local shops.
We have been to Mons on many occasions for both casual and business lunches. You can rely upon the consistency in all the dishes across weeks, months and years. The staff are friendly and efficient. Mons only opens for lunch on Thursday and Friday but is open for dinner 7 nights a week. Atmosphere is ok for a suburban restaurant. The food is great.
We made a last minute decision to go out for dinner and chose Mon's because it was close and we had never been. It was a great choice. Staff are friendly and professional. The food is delicious and so flavoursome! Prices are not so bad either, not all meals but the ones we tried were pretty average priced. All in all a good experience :)
