Monsoon Thunder Bay

We ordered the fish appetitizer which was like a pakora but served with diced cucumber on rice with mild-med spice...we thought that was weird. The fish curry had the same fish pakoras in it which we were not expecting. The curry was very flavorful. The...mixed vegetables we're excellent with a good variety of veggies and the spice sauce was very flavorful. Overall the portions were excellent for take out with leak proof containers.

I had a great experience dining in at this Indian restaurant. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The salad I ordered was mostly raw onions with a few slices of tomato, herbs, and spices. It wasn't really to my liking, but I'm sure others might enjoy it. The fish curry was a bit salty for my taste, but the butter chicken was moist and well-flavored. Overall, a great place to dine in.

We left the restaurant because the server did not ask for conformation of Covid vaccination. The manager approached us outside. He said they were asking patrons for proof of vaccines. He said that particular staff only came in once a week and did not know...current protocol. Let’s hope, that in future that staff are up to speed with Covid protocol. There food and service has always been great!

A visitor to Thunder Bay and decided to try Monsoon. Was not disappointed at all. The butter chicken was full of authentic flavour, the aloo Gobi the same, moist and delicious. Would definitely order again and would try other choices too. Thank you!

this place is something else. eating is excellent and service is not next to any. very recommended for friends and family. I never thought to come from toronto that donnerbay will be able to meet the quality, but was proved wrong.
