I haven't been there for about a year, and the very friendly staff has recognized me for years. This place is rare. Food quality has not changed and is still a favorite for many local Gold Coast locals. There is rarely something you can rely on in life, especially when it comes to grocery stores, but this place will definitely serve the local gold coasts people for the coming years.
This has been my family's go to restaurant as far back as I can remember and it is always every bit as good as I remember. I bring dates here as I find it's a good way to gauge whether or not we have similar tastes. The quality is consistent and reliable even the price of the nachos has hardly changed in 20 years! Staff are always friendly and the new location has freshened things up while keeping the classic Monty's feel.
I've always loved Monty's! I've been dining here since I was 10 years old, and the food is always fresh, quick, hot, and absolutely delicious. The cocktails are amazing as well. The atmosphere is cool and relaxed, making it a fantastic place to be. Without a doubt, it's the best Mexican restaurant on the coast.
