We went with my family with the intention of having a nice time and spent the worst time of our lives in this restaurant in Cairns, received mistreatment from the staff, they were quite rude, the manager is very immature and not proffesional, They judge people and discriminate against them, DONT GO THERE, the food has no really Mexican flavor. Someone told me that they usually spit the food when they do not like a customer. We will never go back in our life. bad experience.
I went for a business luncheon and ordered spicy chorizo sausage with sour cream with spicy sauce and Mexican rice, the food was delivered in 15 minutes.There was very little spice involved and the chorizo was home made wrapped in pastry and it had very little taste to it.For a Mexican restaurant there was very little spice and heat in the meals even the chilli's were very mild.If I decide on another Mexican lunch I will be going elsewhere.
We went here for what we thought would be a good old fashioned Mexican meal. What a disappointment. We thought Mexican food was supposed to be spicey. Well not in this restaurant. The food was warm and dry. We ordered sangria to drink, again disappointing. It looked and tasted as though it had come out of a carton and not one slice of fruit was to be seen in the jug. On the bright side the staff was friendly and efficient
We go out for tea once a week and have been to Montezuma's a few times. We thought we would try some different restaurants but have decided the Montezuma's is the place to go. The meals are very reasonably priced. The service is excellent and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. MONTEZUMA'S YOU ROCK!!!!!!! Réservez une table maintenant
We have been visiting Montezuma's for years and always squeeze a visit in when we are in town. We really love their food as it's fresh, good quantities and not too spicy for us. The service is always good and the manager is always friendly as well. We will visit here again I'm sure.
The restaurant offers delicious and authentic cuisine with generous portions and ice-cold beverages. It's definitely worth a visit and I will be returning in the future.
Had dinner here recently. Staff were great and had a casual atmosphere. Large number of items on the menu so something for everyone. Licensed - good margeritas.
I was pleasantly surprised to find Mexican food in Cairns. This restaurant does a good job, but I don't think Mexican cuisine is too difficult to master. Réservez une table maintenant
