I actually went into MONTIRO on March 7th to have a pre-dinner cigar and an apero. The staff were warm, welcoming and extremely courteous. Even though I brought my own cigar, I wad quite impressed with their extensive collection of Cuban cigars and aficionado magazines and reading material. What's more, the wine selection was excellent and the wines very well priced. It is especially pleasing to know that the is such a place in Geneva where you can go and have a splendid dinner, and move to the cigar lounge for a nice cognac and fine Cuban cigar. Food and service excellent. This was visited the second time, the best option in Geneva we found so far for very high quality of food and still affordable and good prices. All we tried in the last 2 visits was simply fantastic and most fresh fish, seafood and meat we had in Geneva, which can compare with the quality in high-quality restaurants, only the price is 2-3 times less: in love with this place and would always go back! Very recommended
It's the now third time I've had the chance to eat here. The restaurant looks great with a cosy yet modern atmosphere. The menu is appealing and the staff is very professional and passionate. Food quality is very good and the wine list is what you'd expect for such a restaurant. The plus: a beautiful cigar lounge where you could relax and choose from a variant of cocktails and liquors after your meal. Definitely a place worth trying...
It is very rare to find in Geneva a high quality restaurant with a great collection of wines, modern food and a cigar friendly sections for your after dinner drinks and desserts! A great concept. The staff is very competent and friendly, especially Romain the barman and Olivier the GM. Well done guys. I occasionally meet with friends in the Montiro to enjoy a cigar in their company. Yesterday we concluded the evening with a meal. The Hamburger was the best I ever had son far.
