Our pre-booked table was given away even though we arrived early. A waiter had a tantrum in front of us, throwing his cloth to the floor at the feet of another waiter. Asked for the Chefs choice of pate, but was served the liver pate...at twice the price. Quite a few bones in the fish and chips. Bar manager would not let me sit at the bar as I would have been in his way, but then just let others stand there taking up just as much room. I did not make a fuss on the night and chose to message my issues. When you message, you only receive a reply telling you how to book and no other response to the message. I looked but could not find an email to contact the management. I hate to write a review...
The staff were very friendly and the restaurant has a great location. Unfortunately they are badly let down by the quality of the food. My husband ordered a pizza which resembled a frozen pizza, and not a good one at that. I ordered the prawn...linguine which appeared as if it had been made some time ago. It was stodgy and the prawns were rubbery. Our boys both had chicken nuggets from the kids menu. Neither finished their meal which is unheard of their view was that the chips were terrible (their words, not mine). My husband and I sent our meals back and the waiter kindly removed them from our bill. The, I assume, manager came to talk to us but insisted that the food had been cooked fresh I...
Montys is the place we can’t wait to go to on our first night also tradition to go on our last night. It is the perfect place to enjoy the amazing Vale do lobo Praca music atmosphere and safe environment for everyone especially children....The food service quality is always perfect with so much choice to suit everyone that is something to be proud of when you see how busy they are. The staff always treat everyone like they are the only ones that matter and the children love the waiters as they have so much fun with them, (even though they are run off their feet) Cocktails are delicious too We can’t wait to return
The entertainment in the square which is for all venues is far too loud and we had to ask for the volume to be lowered as we couldn’t hear the staff or ourselves talk or think. The food is ok but nothing special. The waiting...staff seemed to be slow and arguing between themselves. Large groups of children jumping about and dancing which is fine if you are a parent of a small child but this isn’t what you can call a venue for an older family or a romantic evening. Someone in Vale do lobo needs to rethink what they are creating as it all felt very Benidorm and that’s not what you expect in the golden triangle. Réservez une table maintenant
Visited here during a recent golfing trip and wasn't disappointed. Food was excellent, service excellent and a great atmosphere. Not cheap but certainly not over priced for the quality on offer. Eating atea is nicely designed so that you can watch football if you want...or listen to any acts they might have on without either disturbing the other. Would definitely recommed a visit if you are in the area.

We got dragged down by our children who wanted to go to the price. The food is poor pub food. Lots of frozen stuff. Very little fresh or local produce. Service is good but not engaging. The kids had a great time in the square...and at the mini golf so I suppose we would go back for that but not the food or drink.
