Monty's Steak House

I've been debating for a while writing this review, 5 months to be exact because Monty used to be our place in Woodland Hills. So, on 19. May, without hesitation, we made a reservation to celebrate the day of our friend {now I wonder if we had to find out first in which temperament Ms.Vicki was before we decided to make the reservation}. We were all in good spirits, but at the moment we sat at our table, we felt a clear lack of enthusiasm. Ms.Vicki confronted our server a hard one, never smiled, beyond Snobby, not helping Lady, made us feel unwilling. We left her unavoidable behavior because we didn't want her to ruin the special day of our friend, even if she was free before the food, even...

We went to Montys Steakhouse to celebrate a birthday in Woodland Hills. I never had the chance to go while it was in Westwood, so it was long overdue. Easy to find and close to the 101 motorway. The atmosphere is very beautiful and feels like it is still in the 1960s with decor and great music game. The food quality is excellent as the service. Everything was top notch including cocktails. We had steaks, Lamb Chops, Chile, Au Gratin Potatoes, Shrimp Cocktail, French onion soup and Fudge Sundae. The menu is also loaded with other great items. Had a wonderful time. Parking is available on the street and Valet. I definitely come back. Very recommended.

Great atmosphere, food is good, not exceptional, but good. Love their salads on special. Service is good as long as your party is 6 or less. Last time it was 12 of us, the server was overwhelmed. We love this place. There are small shortcomings, but who is perfect except my wife?

Waiters and servers were top notch. The woman ordered the Chicken Parm that was amazing. I had the cheeseburger and was a bit disappointed. Presentation was great, but the taste was not there. We'll come back to try their steak.

Had an excellent wedge salad, also had the NY strip, and garlic mashed potatoes. Very good food, excellent Martinis.
