I chose this place because someone on nextdoor.com asked for Chinese food recommendations, and several people said to go here. Online order seems to be offline. I think all the prices I found through Google Maps were reduced midday prices. Dinner prices are higher, and huge amounts of food. I ordered it by phone, my sister picked it up. Phone order was very goo. The lady seemed interested and more than just competent. She asked questions to make sure I got what I wanted, and I appreciate it. Very good moo goo gai pan, broccoli shrimp, and crispy vegetable spring rolls. We forgot to ask for Senf. Hot acid soup was hot sour, but I won't order it again because it wasn't a guy I like. We ordered the delivery from here last night. We were thrilled to try the food here because of all the wonderful reviews, but we were really disappointed. The egg rolls, dumplings and crabs Rangoons were delicious, but that was it. The egg drop soup was boiled and had so much egg in that it basically tasted like a bowl of raw egg yolk. None of the eggs had actually cooked enough to make pieces in the soup. The vegetables in our meals were not cooked. The menu indicated that every guest came with roasted rice, but we received rice that was only soaked in soya sauce. Definitely not roasted rice. Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience here.
I ordered my standard sesame chicken and egg drop soup. I got steamed rice with the duck and it was well cooked. I thought the chicken was very good quality, but the chicken was very delicious, and it wasn't crispy at all. Soggy bread makes me sad. The egg drop soup was a little bland before I added the Winton strips. It was perfect after that. I'm looking for a new Chinese start since my favorite place is closed, I'll try this place again.
We had the family dinner for two more. The food was fine considering that we only paid $40 for 3 entreees, 3 egg rolls, 3 crabs Rangoon, and 3 soups (choice of egg drop, sweet/sour or wonton). The food was best, but would be worth it again. The lo mine was like any typical lo mine, the sweet sour chicken was a little bland. The Kung Pao (not shown) was lightly spicy and was also okay.
