My boyfriend and I went to celebrate our anniversary and heard amazing thing about this place so we decided to give it a shot. The staff that welcomed us were very professional and kind. The woman who seated us noticed that I was on crutches and had brought an extra chair to our table for me to rest my leg on and also informed me that if I needed to use the bathroom then to let them know and they would escort me to an elevator so I didn't have to use the stairs. Mooo is an excellent choice for a special occasion. My boyfriend and I celebrated our five-year anniversary there, and the hosts made us feel truly special! You can really see that they focus on the little details. We planned to treat ourselves (within a reasonable post-grad budget), and it was absolutely worth it. I always have a flawless dining experience at Mooo Boston. From the moment I arrived with the valet until the time I left, everything was absolutely fabulous. Our usual choice is the dry-aged ribeye, but this time we decided to try something different and went with the twin Maine lobster. It was an excellent decision. For a side, we ordered the tempura onion rings, which were a delightful summer treat, even in January. This trendy spot has a lot of style, but the food didn't live up to the price. For instance, they seasoned the wagyu with pepper before cooking it, which resulted in a burnt flavor that overshadowed the meat. It's the first time I've seen a wagyu steak treated this way. The crème brûlée was still very cold, as if it had just come out of the fridge and was pre-made some time ago. On the positive side, the wine was excellent, and the bartender knew his stuff when it came to wine recommendations.

Mooo is a great idea for Lunch! It is quiet, good for business lunches, as you can hear yourself talk. And the muted beige atmosphere is calming. The salads are exquisite, and very ample. The proportions on the foccaccia club sandwich are huge! Maybe share? I would highly recommend for luncheon, as it is hard to find a beautiful lunch in an elegant atmosphere on Beacon Hill and environs.

The service was wonderful, and the food was absolutely spectacular! The prices are quite steep, so I will only visit on special occasions. For those with bigger budgets, I hope you get to enjoy it repeatedly. It was truly one of the best meals I've had in a long time.
