J'ai appris que chez l'épicerie traiteur sur la rue Cartier, Chez Morena, il y a des nouveaux menus: bon matin et osteria. Première visite chez Morena lundi passé pour le lunch. Mon amie et moi avions hâte d'essayer l'endroit dont on avait beaucoup entendu parler. Devant la porte du restaurant, il y a une ardoise qui indique le menu du jour. La serveuse nous explique plus tard qu'il y a toujours une viande, une salade, un poisson et une pizza dans le menu du jour ainsi que deux choix d'entrées, une soupe et autre chose. Ma copine prend le velouté de tomate et la pizza au saumon fumé et aux câpres. Elle trouve la soupe très salée, mais la pizza est bonne. Je choisis la terrine de chevreuil et les fruits de mer panés. I live in the neighborhood so can speak definitively about Morena. For coffee and croissant in the morning, maybe coupled with some work on the web, it's the best in my opinion. Yes, Starbucks is just down the street and the Brulerie Rousseau is just up the street in les Halles, but Morena has them both beat for a sane quebecois cafe experience. If you're up for lunch or dinner, their dishes seem very tempting although I've only had the pizza. It was very good though pricey as usual for the Montcalm neighborhood. We found this place on google and based on it's rating, we decided to give it a try. We had brunch here and it was very good. Various options for a small place and the waitress was really friendly and helpful. This restaurant is Italian...and they have a big store full of Italian goods. We also bought some snacks to go. I totally recommend this place.

I didn't find a lot of to-go' food in Quebec City. Wanted something quick and that I could take with me. I am so glad I found na Epicerie! I got a generous-sized personal spinach and mushroom quiche in the refrigerated section for just part was that it was mostly veggies, not egg. There were a lot of tempting items in the store.
This is a market for fine foods, mostly Italian, good wines from all over, and a restaurant, with three options, counters, tables and an outdoor patio. They have a daily menu, this place is cheap and good. and this is the best street for food...in Quebec.
Serve as a small restaurant, groceries and delivery. Cozy ambiance. Healthy products and plenty of options if you are looking to get food to go. One of my favourite places to get food when in Quebec City. And it is located on the lovely Cartier Street.
De la cuisine italienne faite avec des ingrédients simples mais de grande qualité. Très bien fait et savoureux, un petit coin sans prétention pour manger une bouchée et boire un verre de vin.

Belle découverte de la petite section restaurant à l'intérieur de cette épicerie fine. Que de petites tables pour deux. Excellent service et excellents plats. Je vais y retourner.
