I made a reservation for dinner at the last minute when my boss let me know he'd be available for a meal and was looking for somewhere walkable from our hotel, and Morrison-Clark worked out very well. It is more upscale than I was expecting so we were a little under-dressed, but it wasn't an issue. The food (we both ordered the salmon entree) was EXCELLENT, and the prices were very reasonable by District standards. I would definitely return, and I know that my boss really enjoyed it and plans to return, as well
We dined on Saturday evening March and the dining room was empty BUT, the food, service, atmosphere, and drinks were still all top shelf. Two visiting friends from NY complimented on the elegance of the dining room and were overwhelmed with the quality of the food and the impeccable service. As DC residents we patronize this fine restaurant and have never experienced any reduction in quality or service
