I visited the Kettering Morrison's cafe for a snack with my partner. When we finally managed to attract someones attention (by stepping into the kitchen area as there was never anyone at the counter) we ordered a couple of all day breakfasts. Other than the...side order of chips being stone cold (which to be fair were quickly replaced) the breakfasts were acceptable, just (the bacon had probably been cooked many hours previously as it had the texture of a crispbread). Furthermore, in whatever direction you looked, it was impossible to avoid observing tables covered in used crockery and leftover food. None of these tables were cleared during the half hour or so we were there. Little wonder it...

My wife and I often visit the cafe at Morrisons, either this one at Kettering, or the one at Wellingborough. Depends which one we do our shopping at. The last occasion was in December, just before Christmas, and I had Fish Chips with mushy...peas, and my wife had beef lasgne. We have always been satisfied with the food at this cafe and this occasion was no exception. We took advantage of the Morrisons offer of two meals and a drink, for a most acceptable price of around for the two. I know my wife enjoyed her meal and coffee, and I certainly enjoyed my fish and chips with a pot of tea. It is not a fine dining' restaurant, of course, but it is a very good cafe which offers a decent selection...

On entering cafe we were told no fried bread no mushrooms no hash browns If your having a breakfast ! Then lady on till said I have woman flu! I couldn’t tell what she was saying and that was her reply! The service is terrible...our table hadn’t been cleaned properly and the staff are so harassed/ short staffed or just plain miserable not sure which except for one young lady very glamorous who always has a smile. Will most definitely wont go in again .

Popped into Morrison’s cafe pre shopping , was disappointed so much was off the menu ! Mum had a pie mad abs mushy peas , and I had a toasted sandwich , took a long time to come even though it was empty. ! Mums...was grey and boring , hard mash , lumpy gravy and my toasted sandwich well done and the servers thumb stuck in it on serving not a great experience and as gone down hill a lot Réservez une table maintenant

We ordered two small breakfasts but found the service was slow and had to prompt one member of staff about the long wait. It was clear they were short staffed. Tables were not cleared after customers completed their food. There should be guidance by staff...if there was going to be a delay.

The food was disgusting and the tables a complete mess. Spilt milk, sugar everywhere. No hot water. No staff and a useless manager. Have heard that Annette from the coffee bar has been sacked, the only person who worked her a*s off and now the...cafe has gone to pot!

We have breakfast here at least twice a week, and have never been disappointed. Staff are very friendly, and professional. The food is always well cooked, and of good quality. Would highly recommend eating here.

Gone really downhil. Not worth going into now, it used to be packed at unch times and weekends, now it's nearly empty, not at all surprised. Fancy pates, small portions, small menu, hardly any choice. AVOID Réservez une table maintenant

Cannot understand the difficulty In frying an egg with a soft yolk, on the last three occasions I've been given a breakfast with solid eggs and cold toast.... Why?
