After a thorough renovation, I was hoping that the cafe would have improved as well. Sadly, I was very disappointed. Many dishes were 'not available' when ordering. The coffee machines were still not working properly - I ordered a cappuccino and got a mocha instead! People were even leaving the queue after hearing that many dishes were unavailable. Our 6 slices of toast and 2 poached eggs took 30 minutes to arrive and were only barely warm. I think the cafe needs to be quickly reviewed before they lose more customers.
I met a friend for coffee and cake at a restaurant. We had trouble finding a clean table because they were not cleared, so we had to clean one ourselves. There was an issue with the coffee machine, which took a long time to resolve because there were only 3 staff members and they were busy with other tasks, such as serving. Initially, there were no cups or cutlery available, and this was not resolved due to the lack of staff. The existing staff were great, but there was just never enough of them.
I made the mistake of trying eggs Benedict here, please do not be fooled by the pictures on the menu. what i was served was vile, i wouldn't allow a dog to eat it. When the lady asked if everything was ok with my food she simply smiled and walked away. the coffee was at least drinkable but the area was filthy. so the scores on the doors are 0/5 food 2/5 cleanliness 1/5 customer service 3/5 coffee I think i will stick to greggs
Called in 9am on Tuesday for some breakfast and was very disappointed that tables hadn’t been cleaned. Also drinks and cutlery area very messy too. No napkins available. I couldn’t help but notice that the used tray rack was filthy and must have been harbouring all sorts of bacteria. I’m surprised at Morrisons cafe being managed so badly. I won’t be returning to the cafe although shopping experience really good. Réservez une table maintenant
Met up with friend it’s a 50min drive. Menu was awful place was dirty and couldn’t find a clean tray amongst about 20. Custard tart was 1/2 thick and pastry was stale and tasteless. Wanted coffee there was none so made do with Hot chocolate which wasn’t hot. Table were dirty and not cleared although the place was full. A shortage of staff and girl doing the cooking and clearing away was trying her best.
We visited the restaurant at noon for lunch and found that there were no cups for drinks, no cutlery, and a long line of people who had already paid waiting to get their drinks. Our table had not been cleaned and the staff did not seem to be in a hurry to address the issues.
