Back in Spain again this year, we did a 90 minute drive to return to this gem of a restaurant in a quiet medieval town. Apprehensive that we might not be able to replicate a wonderful dining experience last year, we were not disappointed. The restaurant itself is lovely, comfortable, spotless, relaxed. The food outstanding. we were the only non Spanish people in the restaurant. So an authentic Spanish food experience. The owner asked about food preferences then builds the meal around that. No menus. We had a wonderful plate of grilled artichokes with duck liver, calamari, seafood, salad and potatoes with a delicious aioli, dessert, coffee, water, glass of white wine.
