Been there over the weekend and after having a great walk in the forest nearby we decided to have lunch break with some friends and our kids in the cute restaurant just next to the beautiful lake. The service was very friendly and the food delicious. My friends took the Wiener Schnitzel and i got the fried aubergines with goat cheese. Both very tasty and nicely decorated on the plate. The restaurant is fully smoking free and very comfortable and roomy. They have a plenty of local stuff, but also some other more not traditional dishes. The price level is normal i would say and you get for what you have paid. I can really recommend the restaurant also because of the amazing panorama view that...

Starting a winter walk somewhere near Seefeld it could happen that you land in the forests near Moesern (which belongs to a far distant market named Telfs in the Inn valley!).You enjoy the sunshine on one of the benches as well as their reflection from the lake:quiet, calm, simply said: like in paradise! Then, suddenly, you feel appetite or thirst - you're not alone, many others do so and enjoy either hot tea or coffee (made with fresh mountain spring water) or a glass of beer fresh from the tap or what ever you desire.Always with the chance to have a glimpse on the the lake, it can become one of the unforgettable moments you long for, when on holidays...

This lake is about a 90 minute walk from Seefeld through the forest, or a short drive. Parking is free although limited in space. Favoured by locals it is a large lake set amongst the mountains. Ideal for swimming or just relaxing amongst beautiful scenery. Many families bring inflatables to use on the lake and have favourite picnic spots. There is a cafe/restaurant at the waters edge selling reasonably priced food and drink. A beautiful setting.

Wait staff spoke good English. The Tyrol tapa trio was a mixture of tangy cool items withe cheese in oil and vinegar, meat with pieces if carrot and bell peppers. The smoke fish was samoln, tuna and a fish/cream cheese mixture. Both came with a regional bread. Great view while eating our having a drink.
