This is some of the best food I've had in a long time. Everything was incredibly flavorful, served in just the right portions, and reasonably priced. The creativity and innovation in the dishes really stood out. The coffee was fresh, made from beautifully roasted beans. As a former chef, I can confidently say this place has perfected its craft. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the wonderful atmosphere and location—there's a lovely garden area and a gallery showcasing local art and pottery, complete with a banjo player providing entertainment for free. It’s just perfect! I’ll definitely be back tomorrow, Friday, for one last taste. Thanks to Paul and the team!
My partner and I recently spent a long weekend along the coast and decided to explore more of the area. We stumbled upon this restaurant, following our GPS, and were greeted by a unique establishment. We were impressed by the numerous seating options available for dining. We ordered brunch and received excellent customer service, with our meals arriving promptly. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was due to the challenges of dining with children—specifically the noise and chaos we experienced. In the future, when we return, we might choose to sit indoors to avoid the commotion.
The restaurant is spacious and dog-friendly, making it a suitable spot for families with young children and pets. However, I felt the food was overpriced and mediocre. We waited 20 minutes for a piece of banana bread that tasted like it was from 7/11, and it cost us $7.15. To make matters worse, the staff wasn't particularly welcoming, and ordering was done through a QR code, which came with an extra service fee. I don't think I'll be returning.
We had the best vegan dinner tonight at The Mossy. Belinda cooked up the most amazing cuisine for our group. Fabulous flavours and textures. Thank you so much for such a thoughtful and indulgent evening. Absolutely sensational food.

Wonderful food. Well worth a visit. May have to wait awhile for food in a busy period. Today was perfect sunny weather and a Sunday so there was a wait for food but it didn't matter because the surroundings are very pleasant
Love this place. It's become our go to place especially when we have family visiting, it's nice to know we can take them somewhere and can be guaranteed they'll love it. Keep up the great work!Belinda is also lovely�
Came here on Thursday morning and had the peaches and cream French toast. Something so different that I’ve never had and it was amazing! The staff were also fantastic and I will definitely be back when I can!
The food is delicious and the staff are so friendly. One of my favourite places to eat on the South Coast
