After a pretty nice welcome it was all downhill. Young staff with no idea about service. Had to keep reminding them we’d ordered more drinks. Food took ages to arrive fries where cold. Ribs were all fat with very little meat. When we asked to replace ribs with a burger (party of 5 4 had burgers which were ok 1 had ribs) waited over half an hour after the rest of us had finished our burgers and decided to call it a night and just pay. They tried to still charge us for the burger which hadn’t arrived. Owner finally agreed the undelivered burger could be deducted from the bill after the staff were arguing with us! Go the the restaurant Abra Sama next door great service food.
I hate writing negative reviews, but I had such a negative experience here that I feel I have to warn others before they spend their hard earned money here. The service is not just slow and haphazard , it is rude by any standard. The staff displayed such indifference and contempt for the customers that I can only assume that they must hate their working environment. We had to ask multiple times for drinks whenever we wanted more, had to go and collect cutlery ourselves, and waited a long time for food, much longer than is usual in Spain. The food, when it did arrive, was cold and dry. Basically, spend your money somewhere else, somewhere that deserves your money.
This one one of the worst places I have ever eaten in Cartagena. Service awful. Attitude indifferent do not order the ribs. My plate was 90 percent pure fat ribs. Surprised they would even serve them. Owner said they were fine ! After complaining and having an argument the uneaten ribs and chips were removed from the bill. A friend who ordered burgers complained the meat was dry and the chips cold. Chilled wine arrived warm as they couldn’t be bothered to chill it ! Well worth avoiding !
