Best Indian I’ve had outside India. Portions are small (tapas style) but cheap. We ordered 3 curries rice, popadoms and bread between the two of us, and we were stuffed! I do think you need to double check about the bread to be sure you get vegan cause I think we accidentally ordered stuff with ghee on it. Otherwise it was flawless. Would love to see a vegan marking next to the vegan dishes on the menu. Updated from previous review on 2022-01-06
Really fun tapas-style Indian restaurant! You can order a lot of different dishes when you come with a group, decently priced, and DELICIOUS! My favorites were the chickpea dish and the lentil dish (I can’t remember what they were called on the menu). Very good flavor, would give 5 stars if allowed. They can make the naans vegan as well and we got the garlic naan which was delicious!
This is one of the better indian restaurants I've been to in this city. We were a large group, mainly veg adjacent people, and ordered many different dishes. The spice level was alright, and the food was nice. I would recommend ordering different dishes to share as the dishes were relatively small on their own.
Our group found this to be a reliable central option without a booking on a Sunday evening when fewer vegan-friendly places seem to be open. There was a good range of flavours across the dishes.
