The Mowwe restaurant is beautifully located in the landscape reserve of Lanstrop and yet not far from the city of Dortmund. There's plenty of parking. Input was only with COVID certificate and that was also controlled by the staff! For the silver wedding celebration we had a separate area and were able to move freely in it. The food was good. It was grilled fresh and there were various salads. The cake and cake pieces for dessert were really delicious The restaurant was very well visited inside and out and the service staff had all the hands to do! ( Something disturbing was felt that next door was another feast and the staff had to run through our room for their operation. Similarly, there was always a service from the adjacent kitchen to the guests in the garden area. The toilet was also used by other guests, was heavily frequented and it was necessary to get back to the only men's toilet.
My friend and I wanted to eat something delicious again at Möwe. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. When we came some visitors but we still found free tables. We waited patiently because rubbish cake food was announced.No one took care of the services running past us, no one brought a menu or asked what we want to drink. A couple what came after us was immediately supplied with menu and also with drinks. We then lifted the hand after about 30 minutes and with a, "Hello try to draw attention to us. One moment... was the answer. So we waited. When the operators around us asked the guests who had already eaten their plates with rubbish cake, whether they wanted to postpone and new guests put 2 tables on and were immediately served with card and beverage order, my girlfriend and I were served and stood up without further words and left the 'gassous house'. I can only say... without words....
From time to time, it drives us from our own stove to strange cooking pots. The restaurant Mowwe is far from tempted with its red color. It lies idyllic between fields on the edge of the forest and is visited by a mountain bikers and cyclists. Outside is appealing, the boss welcomes you personally, the service is friendly and fast. I order Wiener Schnitze, the real, with veal. Price €23.90. And then they come, the hot coveted. Siiie are an ambiguity: Much too fried, the carving itself tapped as flat as a lion paper. Too bad it's not his price. But the waitress kindly exchanges the court for the desired crust. Delicious. Go!
The best part of our visit to the restaurant was the Idyllic location and friendly service. We came to the seafood sauce just because of the table top, unfortunately, the food was not just the reputation of the house. The meat was tough, the potatoes had a hard skin, the sauce did not taste for horseradish and the cucumber salad was placed in a cup and this stood on the plate in the sauce. Not exactly hungry, I also told the service, the only reaction was the statement “I give it on” we have paid and have gone forever.
