The service was excellent. Attentive but not intrusive. Nadia was very accommodating with our special requests. We shared a garden salad as our appetizer. I enjoyed a hard lemonade, which was refreshing and not too sweet. I had the tenderloin filet with vegetables and roasted baby potatoes. The steak was done perfectly and melt in your mouth. My partner had Lois lake lemon herb salmon with ancient grains which was superb. It was a generous portion of salmon cooked medium rare. The seasoning was delicious as were the ancient grains (not gluten free) For dessert we shared the Carmel pecan cheesecake. We took our friend there for lunch. We went early and sat to the left as you went in the door.Our order of ribs was good. Our friend and I had the soup and sandwich. The soup was rather salty. The sandwich was Ok. The coffee was the worst I had ever tasted. Did not take a second cup.The service was slow as they were not too busy. By the time we left our section was very busy and noisy.Our simple order was mixed up. Would not go back there again.
Dropped in this place for quick lunch. Ordered one of their burgers. The burger was tasty, service was adequate. I thought that the prices were a little on the high side but that all depends on how you perceive the establishment. Close to the Pickering mall and many other food suppliers such as ice cream. The meal was enjoyable but it wil be a while before I return. This is not generally my type of eating establishment.
Went for lunch with about 20 people. Excellent service .... We were made to feel very welcome and periodically the manager dropped by to insure all was well. I had a wonderful salad which was vegetarian. Some people ordered a selection of starters others had complete lunches...everyone was delighted with the restaurant. Good for any occasion or for a family lunch or dinner. Will be going back.
We ordered the Tuna poke to start. The tuna was grey and looked inedible. Had no flavour. Next we ordered the fish tacos. The fish was so small you couldn't even taste it. Had lots of filler though! Lots of lettuce etc. Only had 2 tacos! Our side to the tacos was the soup. Supposedly it was Tom Yum....really! Not sure what is was but it was terrible, we couldn't eat it. Our bill was $33.00!
I stopped into Moxies on my way home from the cottage.I can say after an exhausting drive and week at the cottage stopping here made everything better. Food was delicious (Biriyani dry ribs)! and it would appear that staff seemed cheerful and friendly perfect for making happy customers! ;)Will always return
