This is my first ever bad review. Not sure where to start. I understand itâs hard to find staff but come on. Starting with hi my name is ââ would be a great start. Can I get you some water to start lol. Hard time getting drinks, water and even the bill. No dessert was offered knowing we were celebrating a birthday. Btw there was only other tables. Moxieâs has always been great with good vibes. Food was good and hope this was an off night. As an owner of a company I would be very worried. Again on a positive not the kitchen did a great job. We went to Moxies on Valentineâs day with a booked reservation and we were immediately sat at our table. The hostess (Sam) was a sweetheart and very professional. She welcomed us and explained the special deal and made sure we were comfortable. The food arrived in a timely manner and there was a decent duration between each course. My husbandâs steak was a bit undercooked and as soon as we identified it the entire staff went above and beyond to compensate us. We were extremely happy with the food, service, and the entire experience. Kudos to the Newmarket team!
I’ve been solo parenting my newborn and seven year old this last month during lockdown whilst my husband is abroad, and on the occasional really tough day I’ve treated myself to a Moxie’s dinner take out. It makes a huge difference being able to enjoy a delicious meal at the end of the day when I’ve hardly had time to brush my hair, let alone cook! Thank you so much. Our waitress was not very friendly and she didn't mention when we ordered that they were out of certain things. Only found out when it came to the table with different items. Management made up for it and gave me the meal for free however it's one of my favorite meal and I was excited for it so was disappointed. My son's steak was also on the tough side.
