Well, again moxies seems to aim to displease. Unfortunately. I can hear once months ago and absolutely loved it!The last few weeks I’ve ordered take out once, and dined in once.When I ordered take out the for my whole family (5x I ordered chicken tenders and fries for my 2 girls, they chicken was way way over fried. Also ordered 2 asparagus garlic and salmon pasta. The one was great! But the one piece of salmon was so over cooked and charred.Decided to dine in today. First off, I’m heavily pregnant (due in 5 days and I was seated at a booth. So uncomfortable. I again asked for the summer seasonal of asparagus Garlic and salmon. My partner and I are currently staying in Red Deer while we wait for our evacuation order from our home in Yellowknife, NT. The entire city of Red Deer has been incredibly generous and supportive during this challenging time, and the wonderful staff at Moxie's were no exception. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, both when we dined in the other night and when we picked up takeout tonight. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was fantastic. They helped us use our City of Red Deer vouchers, and the staff member we interacted with was exceptionally kind and accommodating. Our dinner was delicious. Thank you so much, Moxie's, for making our evening special!
Have been to Moxies many times and always had a great experience with the food and service. Took a business colleague for dinner last week and we had Paige as our server, she was very welcoming, attentive, answered all of our questions regarding the menu and checked on us numerous times. We both had steaks and they were cooked perfectly as well! Great place for a business lunch/dinner for a decent price.
Moxies Red Deer is a awesome restaurant where servers are excellent and food is Above excellent. Lauren was very knoweldgeable about the menu and paid very close attention to specific dietary needs. It was very special to be able to celebrate my one year wedding anniversary here. Lauren and Ian the sous chef were very pleasant and made it a very memorable experience for us. This is my go to restaurant when I’m travelling through Red Deer. LOVE the Lemon basil salmon it’s my favourite dish. I can trust when I order steak, it will be cooked properly and not over seasoned. Servers are always friendly and offer honest recommendations. I always enjoy discovering seasonal cocktails. Great food at a reasonable price.
