The Cornmeal Crust Pizza is a must try. As a Pizza elitist, the Corn Meal Crust Pizza with Black Olives was my go to from 2008 2010, which I ordered over 20 times. In 2022, a mere 12 years from last possible eating of this Pizza I try it again. This time plain cheese. What's happened to the quality? We haven't ordered from Bufala in several months cause we've been really happy with Little Original Joe's which is also in the neighborhood.Last night we ordered in; a medium Italian pizza, fettuccine carbonara, and flan for dessert. Pizza was OK, the carbonara was surprisingly awful, and I'll address the flan later.I would describe the fettuccine carbonara as what you would get if you had leftovers and reheated it in the microwave. It was oily from the pancetta and the butter had separated from the cream. I tried mixing it up but the taste was unappetizing. It had a bacon grease type of after-taste. Very nice welcome and service from when I entered all the way to when I exited with my slice of pizza to go! He was genuine and just all around friendly, and so I felt at ease as though I was welcomed into a family home. Indeed, upon obliging the invitation to sit at a table while waiting for the food I ordered and upon entering, the ambience was pleasant like a nice home in Italy. It had a countryside appeal warming and just soothing right smack in the middle of West Portal with a charming, small town feel despite the rumbling reminders of city life steps away on the other side of the wall. When you get pizza Brazilian cuisine at the same place, it's simply awesome! You have the option of cornmeal crust here too for the pie options. A very extensive menu, but definitely try the Brazilian dishes, so amazing!Food: 5/5
The food tastes like it was made by a 5year old. Don't waste your time here. I really wish I would have read the reviews before ordering from here. Everything tastes like it's straight out of the freezer. No love or seasoning.
The pizza is delicious very good. The service was great, and the atmospheres is family-oriented. I definitely recommend this place for anybody that wants to maybe go out to eat with a friend on a date or the whole family.

Pasta was very good, service was good, but atmosphere and ambiance were terrible. I had a choice of sitting in an area with noisy children or in an area crowded with empty pizza boxes. Both very unappealing.
Love the friendly service from phone call to delivery person. Feels like a family run place. Pizza always tasty and quick delivery.
