I don’t know what has happened to this place. Used to be a staple for burgers and fries and a great breakfast. I myself have been going here for at least 9 years and have noticed the past couple of years but much more in the past year how bad it’s become. We have been going for there for breakfast every week for a while now and it’s come to a point that we are just about done eating there. I used to prefer this location over the 44th and Kalamazoo location, but not anymore. Went in about 9pm and no one over the age of 18 was anywhere in sight..It was a total $hit show! They were all bickering back and forth, yelling though the restaurant. One of the kids on the grill told a customer he couldn 't get him butter because he had to cook orders (our food) Based on previous reviews, there 's a lot of people who feel this place has gone down hill and continues to get worse Everytime we come. Good, hot food. Good employees. Good ice. Usually slow so you get your food quickly. Also a good price. How grilled cheese is suppose to be. Update 6/7/2024 Still good. Mr. Burger is nostalgic for many locals, including me. I think it's mostly a breakfast and lunch place, so when I've come for dinner, it hasn't been busy.
I don't know why but I just discovered this place for myself. Been around a long time, but here I am figuring it out now. The food is excellent, the staff is kind. There was some confusion over the bill and what I ordered. This happened twice. But, it all got worked out in the same trip with kindness.

They need a new soda machine. I've never had a good dr pepper here. I'll continue buying the food. The burgers are great. once they get a new machine that has fresh tasting soda I'll give them 5 stars.
This is what my last 3 chilli dogs looked when I went to this location. I'll be going to the other locations from now on until the quality gets better here.
I grew up in Grand Rapids. Mr. Burger's, Olive burger, is always at the top. Great experience every time and this was no exception.
Generally mediocre experience each visit. Foods fairly fast but comes burnt and missing items most times
