I frequent Mr. Ed's a lot. I usually go to the one on Carrollton, however, I do go to the Kenner location sometime, but tonight I went to the Metairie location because the others were about to close and my husband was craving oysters. The food was absolutely horrible. I'm talking make you gag horrible. I never plan on eating there ever again. I am extremely disappointed and currently in Taco Bell's drive through, because WE ARE STILL HUNGRY after spending 80 plus dollars plus a tip for inedible food. Our server had a very nice and pleasant attitude, however, her service was horrible. She gave us no napkins nor straws, and by the time she came back to check on us, we were just ready to go. If...
Here, they literally treat you like family! I highly recommend this place. We have always loved it for its friendly service and consistently delicious food but tonight they went above and beyond. I was here for dinner for some quality time with my elderly grandfather. When it was time to leave, there was a terrible rain storm with no end in sight. Before we knew it, the chivalrous Sam was walking us to our car with his giant umbrella! We would have drown in the parking lot without him. We are so grateful for this place and their kindness. We will definitely be back soon.
Has to be a different chef, fried egg plant terrible, what was the coating? The red sauce was great. My friend had 30 shrimp in cheese sauce, no flavor or seasoning with hard chips, lordy who was this chef, and I won't be back anytime soon. Oh NO SPLIT CHECKS AND DISCOUNT IF YOU PAY CASH. GOOD LUCK.
Boss took us here for Xmas. Didn't have to care about price and all the food we had was good. The cocktail sauce had the other people at our table, and another table, in tear. That was pretty funny. It was just right to me. Go horseradish! Réservez une table maintenant
