Mr Ed's Seafood Italian

I had high hopes for the stuffed pepper, but it fell flat. It looked old and dried out, and there was absolutely no flavor. It was filled with whole shrimp that didn't taste like shrimp at all and were basically flavorless. The stuffing was mostly breadcrumbs and also had no taste whatsoever. I can't fathom how they could make a stuffed dish with zero flavor. My wife ordered the stuffed mirliton and seemed to have the same bland stuffing on her plate. As for the green beans, they looked and tasted as if they had been taken straight from a can. Even the sweet potatoes, which our waiter praised, had a strong spice flavor that I found unappealing. Mother's Day Lunch for my wife and son whose birthday it is today. It was reservations only with 11:00, 14:00 16:00 settings, Price Fix $45.00 for Soup (Seafood Gumbo or Turtle Soup) my wife and son had the gumbo and i the Turtle soup (Excellent), Lettuce Tomato Salad with choice of Dressings (Excellent), numerous entrees I can't remember the exact number, we each chose the Veal Orleans, panned veal, 2 large pieces with sauteed Mushrooms and crabmeat, green beans and new potatoes (Excelleny)and Bread Pudding with a good hard sauce (Excellent). The ticket came with tip 20% before tax (Excellent as I never Tip the amount with tax) Overall a great experience!

MARY, our Waitress, was EXTRAORDINARY. She has a precious personality and besides her taking such great care of us, she even took the time to suggest we mix two of the salad dressings together (balsamic and blue cheese) for a magnificent taste to our salad. When we left, our car wouldn't start, She gave me back our table and suggested their delicious home made lemon icebox pie, and served me promptly with that and a glass of wine! She made it fun rather than stressful to wait for roadside assistance. Bless you, Mary!

My most recent meal here was wonderful. Good service and enjoyable atmosphere. My husband and I started with the eggplant sticks- they were delicious as was the red sauce they were served with. The bleu cheese dressing that came with the salad was also delicious. My husband got the pasta with crab cakes, he really liked the pasta and said the crab cakes were decent but a bit mushy. I got the fried chicken, which was fried perfectly! Overall we left full and happy : Réservez une table maintenant

This restaurant might have some incredible food, but I have to say that the chicken Alfredo did not impress me. The dish arrived barely warm, and the portion size was quite small. The restaurant itself feels outdated, from the carpet to the old-fashioned recessed lighting. It seemed like a popular spot for regulars, but I just wasn't blown away. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the owner was friendly as he helped seat guests.

So disappointed! The food was freezing cold! They told us 20 min and it took at least 45 min and freezing when he returned home which was 7 min away! They did not include marinara with cold fried eggplant sticks. The lettuce in Caesar salad was wilted and seemed old! The cost was $95 for 1 hot lunch, 2 poboys, 1 eggplant sticks and 1 salad with chicken! Totally different of prices on online menu!Very, very disappointing!

I would like to give Mr. Ed's five stars because everybody seems to rave about it. To me, the dishes just don't have as much seasoning as I would like. The fish was good, but not as good as many other places I've had fish. I got the pork chop and it was good, but also needed additional salt and pepper. I'll be back because others in my family really like it. But it just would not be my pick.

Went for Sat night supper.Very crowded after 6pm.Generous portions of trout,fettuccine &delicious creamed spinach. The crabmeat on top of fish had not been washed from the tin. It was packed in salt water& needed to be rinsed prior to serving. It was inedible, as were the beautiful mushrooms cooked w/ the crab. I had an old fashion drink that was over the top! We will all return to MrEds. Réservez une table maintenant

Food was really good and server, Mike was great! He was very attentive and personable. Had spaghetti and meatballs, crab cakes and fried chicken. Everything was hot and delicious!!

Parking can be a challenge on weekends due to their popularity, but it's definitely worth the slight inconvenience.
