Mr. Shawarma - Réservation de table

After moving from Norfolk in 2021, I can confidently say that the one thing I miss the most is the falafel bowl from Mr. Shawarma. This dish is completely vegan and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying it. The staff is also very accommodating and knowledgeable about veganism, so don't hesitate to ask for guidance when ordering. If you specify that you want your meal "all the way vegan," they will ensure it meets your dietary requirements. In the case of the falafel bowl, this simply means they will leave out the garlic sauce, which contains egg.

I can not stress enough how exception this restaurant is. The service is stellar! The meat is actual slow cooked meat- not mechanically separated and fused together meat by product. The veggies and sides are well fresh, and well prepared. Followed by the reasonable price point? An absolute gem in the city.

They have falafel pita, wrap, or bowl. You can add a variety of veggies and they also have yellow basmati rice and lentils. The hummus bowl is soooo good. The baklava was to die for. Just an outstanding place and the employees are so kind. This is literally my favorite place to eat in Norfolk.

Terrible experience. The food was cold and flavorless, and the staff barely seemed to care. The restaurant was messy and poorly maintained. Definitely not worth the visit. Réservez une table maintenant

Meh. It was okay, not exceptionally flavorful but lots of choices available. I will continue to look for strongly flavored mediterranean meals.

Loooooove Mr Shawarma’s “vegan all the way” wrap/pita! Very fresh and flavorful. Don’t forget a free side of pickles and carrots!
