Mr. Sushi Pompton Lakes

My wife and I are very easy going having to be in the restaurant industry ourselves. Both being server and bartenders, and I have to say this was one of the most disappointing visits we’ve have had in a long time. Food came out in a timely manner, however smelled awful and fishy smell. The server never checked on us to see if the food came out correctly and to our liking. We were finished eating for about 15 mins when I asked our server for a box and the check I was told “sorry I clocked out already the other girl will help you”. That would’ve been nice granted we were already done waiting for a box and the check before she had clocked out. The clocked out waitress still walked to the back and got herself food and what not, while we were just waiting to pay and leave. I have never been one to complain but that was just god awful service, definitely the last time we would be dining there. We’ll just be looking for a new sushi spot after this visit.

I used to love ordering sushi from here . However , overtime they continued making the sushi with less and less love. Or maybe a specific sushi chef. I ordered 2 Philadelphia rolls with avocado as I always do. If you know that your avocados are not ripe or anywhere near, don’t use it for the expensive sushi that your customer is about to purchase. It was honestly terrible and I was really looking forward to it and it actually ruined my night. No one wants to bite into rockhard sushi.Thank you for giving me good sushi in the past but this is my last straw.

Hi y'all. We ordered Mr. Sushi on a random night of the week. THEY ARE BOMB. ingredients: fresh sushi: delicious miso soup: on point, perfect balance of seaweed, tofu and soup flavors: 10/10 100% Delivery man was a sweetie pie, super patient as he waited for us to get it together and get him his tip lol There's some orange sauce they gave us--it's incredible. Perfect balance of spicy and sweet. We worked such a long shift and we worked so hard that this was an amazing treat at the end. Thank you, Mr. Sushi!

Specialty rolls were interesting and tasty. The sashimi was a little small but fresh and delicious. Overall it was a really nice dinner and the wait staff was very attentive!!

Sushi was tasty I had spicy crunchy tuna with mango. Theade it special little extra charge but worth it. Delicious
