I can't believe I've never left a review, this is years coming. This is our favorite restaurant in San Clemente. We have been coming since they opened and they somehow have gotten better and retained their amazing food. My husband and I love the small menu (that's always a good sign of a great restaurant in our opinion). You literally can't go wrong with anything you order. For starters, we love the poke bowl, the wings (and I don't eat wings normally), and the Tuscan toast. The mussels are good too! You must try this restaurant! It is owned by a skilled chef and their talent shines through in the food. The wings are incredibly delicious, especially with the sweet Asian sauce. The short rib sandwich is juicy and full of flavor. The flat iron steak in the steak and fries dish is tender and juicy, with a delightful salsa verde/chimichurri combination to elevate the dish. The pork belly in the bahn mi is incredibly tender and bursting with flavor. This restaurant is definitely one of the top choices in the area. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and make a stop!
I was looking for something a little out of the ordinary to bring my family to when they were in town. I wanted to steer clear of the hustle and bustle of downtown and avoid the crowds because of COVID. I decided to take a chance on MRK and boy, am I glad I did! The Brussels sprouts were absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is fast. I really enjoyed my burger and the overall vibe of the restaurant. I highly recommend them!
Great service and great food! First time and im very happy! I got the sticky wings and the house burger. The wings were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing and the pickled slaw on the side, I could snack on all day. Burger was exactly what I wanted tonight and I have no complaints.
