I feel this location is caught in a weird position that ultimately makes for a less than ideal experience the last few times I have gone. They are not busy enough to have additional staff on during peak periods, but the single person there (working incredibly hard mind you) has to split their time between doing in person orders and delivery service orders. Each time I had to wait while multiple Uber/Skip the Dishes orders were made, a person in the store would order, more pick up orders were made, then to the next person. This place is always up and down for us. Sometimes service is good. Sometimes bad. As you can see from other reviews, the staff can be pretty rude at times. But today was an all time low. As you can see they are advertising kids eat free per each adult meal ordered. We purchased 2 adult and 3 kids meals and were only given one for free. We approached the gentleman at the counter and he told us it's one meal per family free only. Was rude and short with me about it. Like he couldn't be bothered because the line was wrong. I love the food at this restaurant, but my experience last night was very disappointing due to the service. I arrived at 7:30 PM, knowing they close at 9, but the open sign was already off. I was unable to pay in cash because the staff member had closed the cash register early. Additionally, they didn’t restock the food and had limited menu options available. The employee also had a very negative attitude towards my friend and me, despite our polite demeanor. It felt like she wanted to leave early and had no interest in providing good service. I really enjoy the food here, but my experience yesterday was disappointing due to the poor service. I arrived at 7:30, fully aware that they close at 9, and noticed the open sign was still lit. Unfortunately, I was unable to pay in cash because the employee had already closed the register. Additionally, the food options were lacking, and the available offerings were not restocked. The staff member was quite rude to my friend and me, despite our efforts to be polite. It felt as if she wanted to leave early and was rushing us along. While I love the food, I'm considering trying another restaurant instead because I cannot tolerate the attitude and service we experienced.
Went in the last few weeks once, and another time last summer, I used to adore Mucho Burrito before, but NOT the case in Stittsville (go to Kanata location), I ordered a chicken casadill!a, and the veggies were mushy and they only had green pepper, onions, and mushrooms (which to me isn't what I normally add to that), salsa seem to lost its color and was brownish, didn't want to take a chance in case it wasn't good anymore. The picture on the menu is not what it looked like in my dish, but at the other location it was. The guy who served me was nice... but if I was the owner, I would teach him how to serve fresh quality, and buy red bell pepper like the add says.
I have been to a number of mucho burritos in Canada, this was my first time at this location and I will never go back. The place was dead and the toppings did not look fresh or appealing. Portions are the smallest I've ever seen. I felt ripped off. Don't waste your money here.
