I actually placed my order inside the store.1. Paid for a pan, order came out in boxes.2. Asked for green onion to be on the side. Green onion was on the side and in the pan as well.3. Got home, which is a 35-40 minute drive and was missing part of the order.4. Finally, sit down to eat, and the part of the order I drove 40 minutes to get SALTY!5. THANK YOU FOR RUING MY MOM'S MOTHER'S DAY! You all used to be her favorite. That's why I drove so far to get it for her.I spent almost $100 dollars there today, which isn't easy to come by, but I was trying to do something special for my mom! The only way I could be compensated would be to receive a full refund, but since I'm sure that won't happen....
Awful and poorly presented with food falling into the bag. I wish I had taken a photo prior to taking the opened plate out of the tied up bag.. Receipt and ketchup packets were thrown on the top of my food, hence the greasy receipt. Shrimp and fries were overcooked and drenched with old nasty oil. They did not put my hush puppies in my order, but I was charged. My husband called back to let them know and nobody answered. This was my second visit and the first visit was nothing like this one. Too much money for this unclean food....It made me lose my appetite because of the way they threw it together.
I realized this place is more so a take out seafood joint with the addition of optional dine in. It is a really cool experience to go and see what options they have and choose your fish and shellfish before its prepared. My meal ended up being a lot pricier than expected, but it is seafood, so im not too surprised. They have all the add-ons that you may want so I would say this is a great choice to get your next aquatic meal from!
Enjoyed the breeze at the upstairs bar. Split appetizers. The Mardi Shrimp was very good but smaller portion than in the past… We also ordered the shrimp Brunel sprouts kabobs. Typically, tasty choice, however the sprouts were very undercooked. They were hard. We did bring home and enjoyed after waiting them ourselves. Our drinks were good! Bartender was attentive. Crawfish 5 stars for sure the lowest level seasoning was perfect with a small kick so good level of spice for a group. The 10lbs deal is a great price too because it’s crawfish plus corn potatoes and sausage. The reason I gave 4 stars is Only because of the wait. It took 20 30 minutes to get our food if you can Order online beforehand!
Mudbugs is awesome! Generous portions, fresh seafood, and incredibly friendly staff. We celebrated a birthday here with a wide selection of fried seafood: crab claws, shrimp, catfish, and crawfish. Everything was delicious...fried to perfection. My son said that from now on, EVERY family birthday dinner will be at Mudbugs!
My husband has dined here often over the years, as he works in Mobile, but I just recently visited for the first time. The woman who took our order was super sweet! I got the 'sharkleberry ' slush to try and it was pretty good. Food was great too, even though I prefer a cornmeal breading on my catfish.Food: 4/5
Food was ok very over priced 40.00 bucks for 2 peoples lunch is a little much.i only had oyster and flounder lunch wife had shrimp lunch they both only come with frys for sides, had sweet tea for drinks.
