Muddie's Down Home Cookin'

Great place to have a cozy breakfast with friends and family. My only complaint is that someone actually COMPLAINED in their review that a waitress there was TOO friendly! And they FIRED HER and her sweet daughter!!And I mean, she loved to talk to her customers and had a bubbly personality. How can you be fired for being friendly?? When she was shown or read the review, she was quite upset and hurt, and then to turn around and be fired is just unconscionable. I also believe she was in the Autism spectrum, but that's just my observation. The food is delicious, and they have specials posted on the wall.

This restaurant offers relaxed Southern cuisine in a small, easily overlooked spot. Locals really value the genuine, home-cooked style menu, and the dishes have the same comforting texture and flavor as a meal made by family. The waitstaff are friendly and efficient, but I deducted some stars because the owners often sit at their little table, appearing unfriendly and disrespectful. A tip for improvement: glaring at customers while they place their orders is not a great business strategy!

I had 2 eggs over easy, bacon, hash browns and toast. My wife had an omelette. All was hot and prepared perfectly. We were there just after they opened so service was good. I'm assuming the service would have been the same at any other time. Very clean place and I would eat there again.

Solid food and service at this local diner. I had chicken and waffles with a side of grits. Chicken was seasoned perfectly and freshly fried. The waffles are soft, sweet, and delicious; no syrup needed. The diner is easy to overlook, but well worth the visit. We’ll be back. Réservez une table maintenant

The food was outstanding! The portion sizes were generous, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I've never seen such creativity in the dishes at any other diner. Well done, everyone!

Really good breakfast! The wait staff is prompt and kind. The prices are great and the portions are huge. The deluxe breakfast was delicious!
