Keeping my old review up but adding a new one since the new owners took over. Love salad is still on point. Makes me sad to see the desserts are NOT homemade like They used to be. When I would pick up a love salad?I also would get two or three of their giant delicious home made cookies. Usually the oatmeal raisin, molasses a chocolate chip. The desserts now are are frozen defrosted. I know this because I work for a catering company we use several 9f the same items. The chocolate chip cookies they do have.Are the size of the palm in your hand and they charge you the same price that the old owners would charge for a giant one the size of a pancake. So now when I come I just get a love salad. O...
My biggest issue with this place is the service. The lady who took our order was rude during our entire interaction. She answered the phone while we were still speaking to her. We had forgotten to order an already prepared item and hadn't paid yet and asked if we could add it. The cashier immediately had attitude and said it was too late. Didn't offer to do a separate transaction or anything and then turned to the next customer. The drinks and food we got were lackluster. Nothing special about them and overpriced for what we got. The atmosphere was nice but the train is very loud as it goes by
Went before noon on a Sunday so the line was long, but orders were ready fairly quick. Got a hot caramel latte and I would say it was great. There is plenty of outdoor seating with good shade and a nice view of the river. The workers were nice and the vibes were relaxing. Occasionally a train would come by and blow the horn , and was especially loud since the tracks are right there
This place is cool. A coffee house in the trendy part of town, right off the ferry. The coffee was top notch. The cookie was delicious and fresh. The egg sandwich was very good but it is not a NY BECSPK, so I shouldn't judge it, being from NY. It was good for CT. I recommend it. Tell em Barsnobs sent ya!

Such a wonderful and beautiful cafe to visit! The Love Salad here is absolutely to die for, and the scenery by the water makes this place one I visit every time I am in the area!
Everything was amazing. Owner seemed very friendly, plenty parking in the back and cool views along with the trains passing by frequently.
Best coffee, atmosphere and staff!!! Giovanni and the entire Muddy Waters crew are exceptional!! The coffee is the best anywhere!!!
Amazing service, wonderful food, fantastic atmosphere. Can't recommend the Herb Chicken Sandwich enough!
