My wife and I had a delightful dining experience at Broadwater for our first evening meal. The lobby/bar area was nicely decorated for Christmas, and the spacious and elegant dining room was not too busy but a bit cold. However, the attentive staff and delicious food warmed us up quickly. We enjoyed a tasty soup and crusty bread starter, followed by a nicely portioned and beautifully presented monkfish main course. My partner and I enjoyed a Valentine's Day dinner in the evening. I was impressed by the elegant chandeliers and the layout of the dining area. It was a nice change not to have to worry about others listening in on our conversation at the next table. The restaurant started off quiet but quickly filled up, with nearly every table being occupied. The staff were friendly and had a great sense of humor. The tables were set up romantically with a single rose, rose petals, and a heart-shaped chocolate (from Marks & Spencer!). While the food at this restaurant was excellent, we were disappointed by the service. We were only given the a la carte menu, not the set price menu that was advertised. When we inquired about it, the waiter brought over 5 menus but only gave one to my sister-in-law, leaving the rest on a shelf behind us. Throughout the evening, we had to repeatedly call over the staff if we needed anything as they were not very attentive. The setting was lovely and the food was delicious, of high quality, but the service did not justify the 12 1/2% gratuity added to the bill.

eating was good when a little expensive. we had a afternoon and 2 adults. they were the same, although the cost half for a child portion they ask how they can justify the price of an adult meal. as for the venue. it is obviously beautiful, unfortunately the 18-30s club party in the room next door ruined it at 2:30 on a Friday afternoon, along with sharing the toilets, where my 4 years old sohn became every word under the sohn including the most extreme of swearing words, and the loud music, it ruined for us, what as "the perfect family ostern tasty" Réservez une table maintenant

we were here before the afternoon tee, but this visit was disappointing. the personal was friendly but not particularly attentive (the table behind us also complained in the lack of service, so it wasn't just us.) eating itself was ok. scones were nice and warm. Unfortunately, the sandwiches had hardly any filling. also I can't understand why we paid 30 per adult and 15 per child if the child is the same as the adult, but with a less sandwich. have we really only paid 15 for an additional finger sandwich? shocking.

Weekends in hotel restaurants can be quiet, especially over winter. However, the Oatlands Park only had 3/40 tables taken it felt very uncomfortable in silence under vast Edwardian high ceilings. Food was ok, slightly unusual and excellent value with the 50% deal. Wine was very expensive. Service was ordinary and not four star to match the hotels billing. Possibly a better experience midweek and later in the Summer when the hotel is fuller.

we arrived on time, but unfortunately the lunch service was more business than normal, so we did not really start the afternoon until about 14.30. After leaving the staff, we were very accommodating and it was all very nice and relaxing.

It was My fathers 90th birthday so as a family we decided to have a Sunday carvery. We certainly were not disappointed at all, the services was perfect, there was not rush between courses and all the food was fantastic. Réservez une table maintenant

a nice place, but the service was bad. the personal was unstoppable and forgot to ask again and again. had to ask for simple things a few times. good amount was tiny.

Great quality food and plenty of it. Nice choice of teas and alternatives for those who don’t drink it. Kids catered for too. Really enjoyable experience
