Looking for somewhere to eat we stumbled across this Indian restaurant opposite Knox City shopping precinct. For a Thursday night trade was slow very little take aways going out and only 2 tables occupied Not a good sign but we chanced it. The menu caters for everyone Beef Lamb Chicken Seafood and Tandoori and vegetarian dishes at $11 and a great selection of breads from $2 to $3.50 The prices were a revelation really good value for money We ordered a selection Half tandoori chicken $9.50 between us for an entree and it was succulent and tasty apart from one chicken leg which had dried out a wee bit but was still good. They have a great dinner offer which was exactly what I was looking for but the chef wasn't very accommodating I wanted him to add a different rice with the curry but he wouldn't. The Vindaloo was nice not very hot but tasty the saffron rice lacked taste but I think that might be because I wanted Biryani and had to put up with Saffron rice not the same. If you like gulab jamuns then I would recommend these they were the highlight of my dinner. It was great value and a nice meal and dessert was the outstanding part of the meal.
Ordered our meal online and were told it would be delivered in 30mins......over 2hrs later we were ringing the restaurant going where on earth is our food!?!? Food was then delivered after another 15-20min wait. Food was then only average and the menu was limited compared to other restaurants online. Will never eat here again!!!!
