This restaurant used to be my go-to spot until a recent experience that left me very disappointed. One weekend, my son came into town, and we ordered different meals from Munoz. I had the beef burrito dinner while they had some sort of chicken dinner. That night, all three of us fell seriously ill. I struggled with my illness for a full week, just like my friend, while my son vomited for two days before starting to feel better on the third day. I've never been so sick from a meal out before. I reached out to the restaurant to inform them about what happened, but they denied any responsibility for our sickness. It was the only meal we had together in weeks. I don 't know what it is about this place. The meat they use for tacos is not beef. I don 't even know if it 's actual beef. I 've been here a few times over the years and it 's so greasy it leaks out and leaves a puddle everywhere, and it just doesn 't taste right. This last time it left me with an upset stomach. The atmosphere is nice, the service is good. Maybe if I go back I 'll try something different, but I definitely do NOT recommend the ground beef on anything. Kind of pricy as well.
The service was not pre-ordered for dinner, but unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. Neither my friend nor I found it to be particularly good; it was only passable, and we ate simply because we were both very hungry. After all, hunger is the best spice! If we hadn’t been so famished, we would have asked for a refund and gone somewhere else for a meal.
