Munsons Brewery The Chequers

Great food. Great beer.. Being a local (two villages away so I guess that counts) I find that I am coming here as a treat. Always delivers! The beer, atmosphere and service is spot-on . You must book because they are so busy but I always am prepared to wait. It’s worth it!!! Big thank you to the owner. The beer is so good I don’t mind waiting.for the takeaway that I should have ordered online. (Must get my act together) Food: 5

Wow! This is a hidden gem. Great local beers and amazing food. The wings are the best I’ve had in the UK. Very friendly staff. They have a nice outdoor beer garden out back. Dog friendly place. Great pub. Independent too. Have their own micro-brewery. Lovely owner. Som people have said it’s a hidden gem, and it is. Just a few minutes off the A14, and nicer than the places in Bury Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
