Murasaki Japanese Takeaway

So if you around the area, give Murasaki a try. We have visited the joint for lunch and dinner, as a couple and with a family of 5. Do not expect a fancy restaurant. It is a simple unobtrusive shopfront, tucked slightly behind a flight of stairs/ pillar. My advice: unless you fancy waiting(which i don't)please book a table because it gets busy towards meal times. Staff: super helpful.Always obliging.Meals: Fresh and Simple. Portion size = value for money. We visited last night as in a few months we are heading to Japan. What a wonderful cafe. It was almost empty when we arrived (6:30 booking), but soon filled up. The staff were very friendly. Food quick once ordered and very nice. We ordered both varieties of the Gyoza (pork and veg), then donburi (chicken teraki and salmon), and finished off with green tea ice cream. All meals were amazing. The staff were very friendly .Highly recommended.

Never been here before but as it is only walking distance from home decided to come here for lunch today. We had a delicious, fresh and lovely meal followed by home made desserts that are simply delightful in both appearance and taste! A real work of art! So pleased we have now discovered this little gem of a cafe and we look forward to returning very soon!

Went to try out this restaurant for Birthday lunch and was extremely pleased with the great food and friendly service.The stand out dish for me was the agadashi tofu which was delicious and the gyorza were also excellent. We all had curry dishes which we enjoyed. Can't wait to go back to try the sushi and sashimi. Réservez une table maintenant

If you are like me and a fan of Japanese style food then Murasaki should be on your hit list of places to eat in Wantirna. Eat in a take away. The restaurant interior is basic but comfortable and the staff are very nice, happy people. Great value also.

My husband and I had gyoza and the sushi and sashimi bento. Both were fresh and delicious. Food arrived quickly and the service was lovely. Thank you, will visit again

Average restaurant for a Japanese diner with an unimpressive menu. We were not really excited by our visit or likely to attend again Very friendly people Réservez une table maintenant

Not often you can find a place like this. Very traditional food. Happy staff and can get popular. Easy parking and easy to find.
