Murphy's Law - Réserver une table

In a small street off the main drag, the entrance looks like an empty shop, until you see the spiral staircase at the end. Down in the main bar the decoration is white walls with Irish artifacts (what else TV and a real dart board....No plastic boards here... Guinness, Foster's, Newcastle Brown Ale (unexpected and Murphy's were all on tap. You think the place is smallish at first, until you realise there is a much larger room which is accessible through a doorway across from the bar. Candles were lit on every table (even though there was only one person in as it was early evening) which made it very romantic. Good breakfasts, big screen TV for world cup rugby, local beers, small beer garden in the sun at the rear. The bar is underground in the old area of the town. Is a busy student bar in term time. British staff, Irish owner, warm welcome....Not a restaurant as far as I am aware.

if they have to deviate from their light or dark, they are going to murphys law for pizza and a guiness or strongbow. friendly bar offers, but full. often full of expat locals.

Great bar, great choice of drinks, always friendly and helpful staff and great pub-food! Good for watching sports too or just to hang out for a beer or more!

OK, where else to see THAT rugby match. Apart from that, the beer and bar food were fine and the atmosphere of course was just like home!
