We came across this replica ship of Christopher Colombus's ship Santa Maria with a maritime museum in it, which unfortunately was closed. Worth a look if you nearby, but not worth a special journey unless you know the museum is open. Their is a bust of him too in the square in front of the ship.
A life size replica of Santa Maria sitting on man-made museum. History lessons about how Columbus discovery of Americas in 1492 ..were described in this museum which is small ..but pack a lot of facts. Weather in December still good enough to enjoy the superb ship.
Nice little museum built to look like Christopher Columbus’ flagship Santa Maria. You can find there a bit about the history of the Island and some naval artifacts. A nice short about half an hour long visit.
Pretty empress museum with a replica of the ship on top. Host was very good. Plenty of model shops and artifacts of the era. Access via stairs to be on deck with great views. Réservez une table maintenant
Interesting place, very different. But I think the price of 4.50e is expensive as it only takes around 20 minutes to see everything, and no residents discount.
