an absolutely hidden wonder of barcelona. the upper etagens are cool with the modern history of barcelona as well as a lot of objects from every day. as soon as they begin the floors and end up under the musuem, they are returned with the remains of an ancient city to the ancient Roman manor. the art and wise, as it integrates the elevated etage / walkway into the ruins without destroying them is fantastic. the church thus remembers a Scottish church during the king james time. seeing the currently restored large hall with the original pictures is a great addition. having a watch that newly knew the story and obviously was passionate was fantastic. he went far beyond and beyond his tasks. he...

Pretty good museum! They have lockers for free (you just put in a €1 coin and get it back after) and the audio guide is included in the cheap €7 ticket. The ticket gives you access to about a dozen other museums throughout the city. The coolest part of this museum is going underground to see the original structures from the days that the Ancient Romans settled it in the first century BC. There is a lot of information you can read, but maybe 40% of the time the info is only in Catalan or Spanish. The rest of the time there is English as well. So definitely get the audio guide which has a bunch of languages.

We loved this place! I had no idea the background of the city, and this museum shows its rich rich history. You can see ruins from its founding as a Roman outpost, through the changes brought by the church, and beyond. They did a great job of making ruins accessible and teaching, while preserving. English translations were provided in many places, and there were English brochures available.

Huge waste of potential. The archeological monuments are amazing but descriptions are poorly illuminated, small, low, and often missing the English translation. The place in general is illuminated quite badly. This place has the potential to become the Spanish little Pompei if they improve their exposition quality
