This was the best meal I had in Frankfurt on my 5 day trip. The decor feels like a modern take on an old-style German restaurant, and the atmosphere was very nice. Clean too. The reasonable prices and large dining area make it great spot for families, tourists and local businesspeople alike. Our server was happy to make recommendations (she spoke English well too) and they did not disappoint. If you want to try traditional German food and Frankfurt green sauce, this is the place to go. Unterschiedliche Speisekarten für Touristen und Einheimische Vorsicht: Es gibt hier zwei verschiedene Versionen der Speisekarte. Auf der englischen steht „Tip not included“, auf der deutschen fehlt dieser Hinweis komplett. Als ich (auf Deutsch) zahlte, war alles okay, aber mein englischsprachiger Begleiter wurde sofort aktiv aufgefordert, Trinkgeld zu geben mit dem Hinweis „Service is not included“. Die Beweise dazu findet man hier bereits in den hochgeladenen Menü-Fotos. Es wirkt sehr so, als würde man hier gezielt versuchen, die Unwissenheit internationaler Gäste auszunutzen. Sehr enttäuschend.
A fantastic meal that is truly traditional for the region of Hesse in Frankfurt. Not fancy food on a plate, just amazing flavours. Recipes that have been handed down though the family. I met one of the family who is 4th generation for this restaurant. Very friendly and had time for a tourist. Everyone coming to Frankfurt should try this restaurant
Der Service war sehr freundlich. Als Hauptspeisen hatten wir gegrillte Rippchen mit Sauerkraut sowie Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln. Leider schmeckte das Fleisch, als wäre es erneut frittiert worden.

Kommt nah an die Kult Mutter Ernst (ursprüngliche Location) ran. Schön, dass es Euch wieder gibt. Hier fühlt man sich als Frankfurter. Ambiente 1 Punkt abgezogen, weil Patina noch fehlt.
Schnitzel was okay, but way too thick. Add salt to the mashed potatoes. Juicy prices. Sausages were good, service was nice.
War gut, aber keine 5 Sterne wert. Essen war etwas fettig und extrem viel Pfeffer überall. Kellnerin war nicht so herzlich.
A great place... We didn't eat anything, just drank something... maybe as a suggestion: try a different type of gin
