We had such an amazing time!We had 34 people on board for our 35 year since graduation Veterinary school reunion.The setting was truly fantastic. Cruising along the majestic Murray River with the gumtrees highlighted by the lights of the boat, and the watery so mirror smooth that you could see every reflection just perfectly was an awesome experience. We loved the setup of the MV Maryann upstairs, giving us the choice of being outside on the deck or inside in the warmth. The food was absolutely outstanding! A dinner cruise left us all very disappointed. Food was served on cold plates leaving the food cold, risotto was gluggy with cheese that had solidified due to the cool temperature, and the steak (which was tender) was sitting on cold mash. There was a selection of three desserts but after ordering we were advised there was only two as the chef had forgotten to bring one on board. Everyone in restaurant was so cold they had full winter coats on for the whole meal, and a hens night was booked alongside a family & other guests, very inappropriate. On a recent caravan holiday from sunny QLD, the M.V Mary Ann was recommended to us as a great place to have lunch. We were not disappointed. Not only was the location beautiful, the food was exceptional!!!The presentation was a work of art, & the taste was as good as you would find in any fine dining venue.The staff were so friendly & obliging. In fact there are not enough superlatives to praise this very enjoyable experience.This outing is one of the enduring memories from our visit to the cooler southern states.
I am Coeliac and find it really difficult eating out - but the staff and crew aboard the Mary Ann catered beautifully for me. They do require several hours notice to do this but I was thrilled with the meal I received. And the trip up the Murray in the evening is just a treat!I would suggest that if you feel the cold do not sit up near the captain in cooler weather as the A/C needs to be running to prevent fogging up the windows - and it gets chilly up the front. All in all a very enjoyable evening.

We had been on the M V Mary Ann for an evening meal and enjoyed it very much so decided to try their lunch menu. As with the evening cruise, the meals were excellent, the crew very friendly and accommodating and of course, the scenery from your floating restaurant is far better than from any static venue. Although it doesn't have the atmosphere of the paddle steamers, being enclosed yet large windows all around, it is an all weather experience. We will certainly be doing it again.
Our big family group took an evening cruise on Easter Sunday and were really looked after by the crew and kitchen staff during our cruise. The meal was delicious and catered for all ages. Wine was available at reasonable prices. Not sure how much of the river was accessible at this time of year - we coasted up and down quite a few time during our meal - but it didn't really matter. Daytime (free) cruise was also fun - good choice of light meals available too.
We took the breakfast cruise on the MV Mary Ann which left at 10.30am on Sunday, a pleasant journey down the Murray. The breakfast was great, fresh and inviting. The staff were very friendly and nothing is a bother. The riverboat has had a major overhaul. Its a lovely and very clean. Highly recommended for all types of visitors!
Visited friends in Echuca who took us for Sunday breakfast on the MV Mary Ann. A great breakfast that fills you up, good coffee plus a free one hour cruise up the Murray as well!A good way to get a glimpse of what Echuca offers if you haven't a lot of time; you also get to see the paddlesteamers and the old wharf.

Cruise free was a great deal with the purchase of coffee and cake or a meal. Food was wonderful and reasonable priced. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a lovely relaxing time cruising down the river
Very good pizza. Just wish they were open a little more often, especially on weekends. Great staff!
