I ordered a shepherds pie for lunch for The pie was in a tiny claypot. It contained a thin watery potato crust on top and the content was more like a broth with a few scraps of meat that looked more like offal than...mince. A scant serving of cheap vegetables accompanied this offering. I left feeling very unsatisfied and still hungry. Don't waste your time here.
Fantastic cafe!! Visiting from Melbourne and we were there for breakfast on Saturday; dinner on Saturday; and then breakfast again this morning. Absolutely lovely food and wonderful team of staff! Can't wait to visit Canberra again just to go back to My Cafe!!
We had lunch here during the busy week between Christmas and New Years. We didn't have any issues getting a table, despite the fact there were quite a few people eating there. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was great!
The service was exceptional! Despite being in a hurry, the staff managed to prepare two amazing takeaway breakfast burgers and coffees in just 10 minutes. The food was delicious and the coffee was excellent. Thank you! Réservez une table maintenant

Place is cute and great that offering winter drinks liked mulled wine but the risotto was workmanlike and my calamari were poorly seasoned. Staff very friendly but just a bit dull on the food
The food at My Cafe is delicious and the staff are really friendly. I have recently moved to Canberra and have already visited this restaurant three times. I have been impressed each time.
