My Place Tavern - Réserver une table

Came here after another restaurant we wanted to go to was closed on Christmas Eve. My husband and I have driven by this restaurant several times and I've always commented that we should go and check it out. So we finally did! We stopped in for dinner when my parents were in town for the holidays and were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The food was not your typical barfood as this is a tavern, we received friendly service and incredible entrées all at a reasonable price. I was invited out to lunch at My Place. I've driven by the restaurant many times, but never went in to eat. As we entered I found the dining room to have an open area design, it has multiple televisions on the wall and an inviting atmosphere. The waitstaff was friendly, professional and attentive to their customers. The lunch menu had many wonderful choices and the prices were around $6.00. I order a chicken sandwich and fries. Teetering between 2 and 3 stars, decided to round up as I can't say it was horrible. Just standard. They had line dancing so it was a bit loud, don't even mind that as it is a sports type restaurant with events so just know that going in. Sticky tables and sticky menus is what you get. My turkey burger first came out as hamburger. Runner caught it before my non meat eating lips touched. I noticed no avocado or listed ingredients so no biggie as I was going to question it anyway. They don't offer side salads, nor Caesar salad which is a bit weird to me as they had romaine lettuce. What's up with that? At least that is what our server told us. She seemed new. We just went for our second meal and were again overall pleased. To sum up our impressions I 'll quote my wife, it 's better than Red Robin. I like their burgers better and you can hear yourself think . Used to be if we had a burger craving we 'd head to Town Center for a Ted 's... but they 're gone. Then we started going to Red Robin, but the cacophony was quite a deterrent. Now, My Place is our go-to burger joint.

Went for lunch recently solid 3 stars. Waitress couldn't have been nicer and was very attentive. Chicken fingers were average, Catalina dressing for salad was mediocre. Spinach and artichoke dip was okay. Nothing awful but nothing stand out either.
